Description: The Regional Workshop on Research Management for ENHR brought together teams from nine countries in the region: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam and Thailand. The workshop was jointly organised by:
* The National Epidemiology Board of Thailand
* The Thailand Health Research Institute
* The Asian Regional ENHR Task Force
* The Council on Health Research for Development

The major objectives of the workshop were to:
* identify critical issues and strategies for the promotion and implementation of ENHR at country level
* develop/review national and sub national ENHR plans
* enhance management skills relevant to ENHR

One of the major outcomes was the development of tentative work plans for each country and the construction of the regional ENHR work plan using national plans.
