It is our pleasure to announce that the conference’s theme will be Global Health: Innovation | Implementation | Impact. Over the years, global health has gained momentum and established its presence as a field. We have seen it evolve and undergo considerable changes that highlight the dynamic interplay among multiple actors, sectors, and ideas. More than ever, there is a need to guide the future of global health through action. The complexity of today’s global health challenges requires harnessing the skills and energies of many disciplines in developing innovative and effective solutions. A multi-sector and multi-disciplinary approach to solving global health problems goes beyond the obvious and seizes on the expertise offered by each sector and discipline. The need for greater collaboration and cooperation among a variety of actors makes it clear that we must engage not only those who work in health-related fields, but well beyond.
