Description: The National Forum for Health Research, with the support of national institutions, COHRED and PAHO, organized a three-day meeting which brought together national and international representatives of academic and health institutions.The report of this meeting presents summaries of the conferences, debates and working groups conclusions that took place around four main areas of work: health research policies; research priorities; strengthening human resources and funding health research. The meeting provided an opportunity for identifying research priorities in the country as well as for reaching a number of key reccomendations to further strengthen the National Health Research System.
