Description: The two day workshop had the following objectives:
* to provide a forum for researchers, policy makers and community representatives to translate research findings into policy
* to make appropriate recommendations to relevant bodies

The discussions were directed uder five main themes: primary health care services, food and nutrition policy, care of AIDS patients, innovative approaches in health care provision and financing, research management in Uganda.
Recommendations were made for each of the five themes.
