Strategies for Health Research Systems Development in South-East Asia Region

Description: During the workshop participants identified and examined issues and problems in implementing health research in their countries. They critically reviewed mechanisms for priority setting for health research in the Caribbean, and discussed how these could be improved. Finally, each country team prepared a draft plan of action for ENHR and regional proposals for collaboration in ENHR activities in the Caribbean. It was anticipated that country teams would continue to promote and develop ENHR activities on their return to their home countries.
