Description: The Sarvothum Foundation, an Indian non-governmental private foundation, adopted the ENHR strategy for the Dakshina Kannada district. A 3 day national seminar was organised in 1993 to formulate an ENHR plan for the period 1993-2000. During the meeting the health research activities and the activities undertaken by the Sarvothum Foundation to implement ENHR during the previous two years were evaluated.
