Description: Held in Cuernavaca (Mexico), the workshop consisted of plenary sessions with formal presentations and discussion groups. The 44 participants were from varied backgrounds: researchers, research directors, policy makers, donor agencies, the media, and country nationals.
The report highlights a selection of key points and areas of future research that were addressed by many participants at the workshop. The role and perspective of international support agencies in strengthening the research to policy linkage were also addressed.
