Topic: Learning Brief 2001/4

Place: Geneva

Organization: COHRED

Description: A generic process of implementation for ENHR is outlined in this Document. In addition to the definition of the seven elements of ENHR, it includes a selection of examples drawn from a few countries’ early experiences with ENHR, in order to clarify the nature of the process being described. Through the combination of theoretical background and practical applications, the manual aims to render the ENHR strategy comprehensible and useful to those involved in health and development in other countries.

The first chapter of this publication (What is ENHR?) is available as a pdf file on this website. The complete Document can be obtained from the COHRED secretariat in hard copy in English and French.
