Topic: Partnerships

Description: To increase research in priority areas, the National Health Research and Development Centre invited the submission of concept papers highlighting priority research areas, the relevance of the research question in terms of national needs, the quality of scientific input and the possibility of immediate utilization. This report presents the papers submitted, which were peer reviewed in a meeting, both by an external panel of scientists as well as the other scientists attending the meeting. Donor agencies were also invited to the meeting to increase the possibility of funding for the selected proposals and to increase networking.
