Description: The study builds upon the work of previous studies1 with the following aims: 1) to identify key factors influencing health research agendas in Cuba, Cameroon, The Gambia, Lao PDR, Nicaragua, and Philippines, and 2) to elicit recommendations from key stakeholders that will lead to a more equitable balance between the health research needs of these low-middle income countries (LMICs) and the allocation of health research funding by domestic and international agencies.
