Bamako 2008 Ministerial Summit on Research for Health

Knowledge Sharing, Advocacy and Communication

Country-based health research communication
Build on Country Communication work of past 2 years with Makerere University University School of Public Health, expand to a regional activity. Develop generic approach to research communication that will benefit other countries.

1. Makerere research communication strategy Implementation.
2. Expand to a regional activity with other African health research institutes.
3. Develop COHRED approach and tools for health research communication.
4. Provide advice and technical assistance on research communication at country level (Philippines, Malaysia).
5. Research and validation on health research communication approaches together with Athena Institute, University of Amsterdam and southern partners.
