The Informal Consultation on National Health Research Systems (NHRS) Analysis in the
WHO Western Pacific Region was held in Penang, Malaysia from 9 to 11 May 2006. The
objectives of the meeting were: To share information on the development of NHRS in each participating country; to finalize draft NHRS instruments that are appropriate to the member country; and to discuss and agree on a workable process to implement the NHRS initiative.
