Practical approaches to National Health Research Systems assessment and improvement
What do countries need to rapidly assess the state of their health research system, and create actions plans for incremental improvement. This consultation presents thinking from a brainstorming between health research managers from PAHO, Colombia, the Phillippines and Canada, for discussion and comment.

Priority setting for health research: Toward a management process for low and middle income countries. Many countries have set priorities to guide their health research agendas. How to move beyond a on-off event and make them work as a continuous process? Results of an expert group consultation from Philippines, South Africa, Brazil, and The Netherlands will be presented for open comment by colleagues.
