What is RSS?

RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. Using RSS you can subscribe to news and information posted on a website, which will be delivered to your desktop every time the information is updated. Information is sent to an RSS reader on your desktop, which will alert you that new information has been posted.

How RSS works?

RSS is a form of XML (eXtensible Markup Language) that codes headlines, story descriptions, and other data that can be harvested by news readers that scan the internet.
