The initiative for Strengthening Pharmaceutical Innovation in Africa supports decision makers in countries to understand how they can benefit from pharmaceutucal innovation; design effective national innovation strategies; and build capacity in their countries to do this. This is an activity of The New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) Council on Health Research and Development (COHRED) and the African Union.
